So you’ve clicked here because you want to find the best places to buy bubble tea in London, you’ve definitely come to the right place!
I have to be honest here, writing this post is pretty bittersweet. Since covid, nothing has quite been the same and I haven’t been drinking as much bubble tea as before. I know, it’s horrible- oh how do I cope!?

If you don’t know already, bubble tea (or boba) is a drink that originated in Taiwan. It typically consists of milk tea and delicious, chewy balls! …Tapioca balls that is.
But it doesn’t stop there, bubble tea spots usually have a wide range of other toppings to choose from. You can mix and match between teas and toppings to create the drink of your dreams! It really is all trial and error so don’t be afraid to try something different every once in a while.
So in no particular order, these are 8 of best bubble tea spots in London… according to me!
Where Can I find The Best Bubble Tea In London?
1- Biju
For many years, Biju was the spot for me. My friends and I would frequently hop on the bus all the way to Soho just to hang out and get a cup of their milk tea! The in-store atmosphere is also extremely welcoming- I couldn’t recommend this place enough!
Where to find it? : 45 Old Compton St, Soho, London (check out their website for other locations)
2- Coco Fresh Tea & Juice
I didn’t discover Coco until quite recently but I’m so glad I did. I recommend you try their caramel milk tea, it’s to die for!
Where to find it? : 52-53 Dean St, Soho, London W1D 5BL
3- T4
What’s better than getting your bubble tea fix whilst shopping till you drop!? T4 is located in both of the Westfield shopping centres and will save you from all your mid-shopping milk tea cravings!
Where to find it? : Westfield Stratford City, Montfichet Rd, E20 1EJ
or Westfield London, Shepherds Bush, W12 8LX
4- Yi Fang
Be sure to pop into Yi Fang and order their signature drink- the Mudflip! Delicious milk tea and brown sugar tapioca goodness all in one sip? Yes please!
Their traditional refreshing fruit teas are also definitely something to rave on about. How does a pineapple green tea sound?
Where to find it? : 104 Shaftesbury Ave, London, W1D 5EQ (check out their website for other locations)
5- Kova Patisserie
Why not pair a delicious brown sugar milk tea with a sweet treat at Kova Patisserie? Once you enter, you will be unable to resist everything in front of your eyes- it all looks way too good!
The last time I went, I was able to get my hands on their final slice of vanilla mille crepe alongside my milk tea. I didn’t want it to end! I really need to go back again soon.
Where to find it? : 20a Newport Court, London, WC2H 7JS
6- Cuppacha
A visit to Cuppacha will definitely do wonders for your instagram feed! Their ombre bubble tea’s are nearly too pretty to drink! And if you’re not feeling a cold drink, why not try one of their warm teas! You really can’t lose.
Where to find it? : 23 Newport Court, London, WC2H 7JS
7- Chatime
One of my favourite things about Chatime is that they don’t just stop at simple tea’s. Oh no no, Chatime has a selection of slushes and frappes! I didn’t know matcha red bean frappes even existed, but oh boy am I happy that they do!
Where to find it? : 4 Gerrard St, West End, London W1D 5AP
8- Bola Bola Boba
Getting some of the the best bubble tea in London can be a bit of a chore if you don’t live nearby. Especially if you live in South London, and if you’re like me, you’ve probably tried everything possible to get your bubble tea fix. Sadly, us Southerners are not in the required delivery zones! So what do you do?
Look no further! Bola Bola Boba is here to save you! Since March, Bola Bola has been providing bubble tea to all of us boba addicts in South London!
Make sure you pop down to Peckham ASAP to get your cup of milky goodness!
Where to find it? : The Peckham Mall, Rye Ln, London SE15 5EW

October 15, 2020My daughter (12), loves bubble tea. I’ve tried it and think I prefer my regular tea, lol. I’d love to try a non dairy version though.

October 15, 2020My mum has said the same thing to me. Something about bits floating in her drink does not appeal to her LOL! Most bubble tea spots provide non dairy options, you should definitely give it a go. 🙂
